Tragedy as family prepares to bury intending groom on his wedding day (photo)

A Nigerian family in Anambra state is in mourning after a member identified as Victor Chijioke Ezenwa who is set to wed passed away.

The family is preparing to lay the deceased to rest on a day that was supposed to be one of the happiest days to them.

It was gathered that the deceased man was supposed to tie the knot with his longtime girlfriend in Umunya, Oyi local government area of Anambra state.

Although, the cause of death has not been disclosed to the public, the family has announced that the young man would be buried this week.

The 33-year-old man would be laid to rest on Saturday, November 11, in his village in Anambra state.

"We the entire family of Ezenwa of Ajakpani village, Umunya in Oyi local government area of Anambra state, regret to announce the untimely death of dearly beloved son, husband, brother and uncle.”
