Kidnapping in Nigeria seems to remain prevalent despite the fact that efforts have been made to stop it by uncovering kidnappers' dens and even arresting and trying a kingpin like Evans.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that a Catholic priest recently escaped from the hands of his kidnappers when they slept off after drinking wine from the communion stolen from his house.
However, in a recent development reported by Punchng, a chaplain to the Bishop of the African church in Ondo Central diocese, identified as Reverend David Ayeola, has become the latest victim of kidnapping.
